Do not feed your pet for 12 hours before surgery and no water for 8 hours before surgery. If your pet somehow sneaks some food , let the doctor know.  Food or water in the system is dangerous during surgery, as anesthesia can cause your pet to vomit, which can enter the windpipe and lungs and possibly cause asphyxiation.

Testimonial

So impressed with how Sue and Cara cared for our dog Fritz for many years until he passed away at age 15 in February. The two dogs we currently have are also so lucky to see Sue and Cara.
